According to different country’s consulate policy, usually, timetable successful application with Domestic Helper’s arrival as follows:
Filipino Domestic Helper: 3-4 months
Indonesian Domestic Helper: 2.5-3.5 months
Copy of HKID; for non-permanent HK residents, provide copy of travel documents ( including personal information and page with latest HK Visa)
IRD Tax Return Form
Bank Statement for the past 3 months, as financial proof indicates annual salary of more than HKD 180,000, or monthly salary of HKD 15,000
Or Payslips of recent 3 months; or bank account deposit of HKD 360,000 for more than 3 monthsCopy of Marriage Certificate, or Birth Certificate, ( if financial proof information differs from the customer’s name)
Original & Copy of: Address proof for recent 3 months (water bill/gas bill/ Payslip/ landline bill/ electricity bill or TV bill). Cellphone bills will not be accepted
Current/ previous Domestic Helpers name, HKID number and working permit validation
1.Rest days: You should provide your helper at least one rest day in every period of seven days. A rest day is a continuous period of not less than 24 hours.
2.Statutory holidays:All the foreign domestic helpers have the right to enjoy statutory holidays 12days/year regardless of years in service: 01/01; Lunar New Year 01/01—03/01 (Lunar Calendar); Tomb Sweeping day; 01/05; Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festilval and Double Ninth Festival; Winter solstice or Christmas ( Up to the employer), 01/07; and 01/10. If the domestic helper has severed for the employer for more than 3 months, she will have the right to enjoy statutory holidays.
3.Paid annual leave: After serving 12 months for the same employer, the domestic helper is eligible for paid annual leave.

No. Minimum salary by law is HKD 4870, with free food and accommodations.
If the helper mistakenly damages the employer’s belongings, salary deductible for maximum HKD 300 each time. Besides, the total deduction shall not exceed ¼ of the helper’s salary.
1)When the helper has accumulate enough sick days; or less than 4 days of sick leave;
2)Medical proof for sick leave
3)Sick days accumulation: 2 days/month for the first 12 months, 4 days/months after the first 12 month, sick days ceiling is 120 days.
1)When the helper is pregnant
2)During her paid sick leaves
3)Firing her because of witness/providence of law violation proof to legal departments
4)Firing her because of participation of labour association activities, or
5)Compensation not being fulfilled due to working accidents, or before relevant evaluation reports being issued for the working accident
An employer should pay long service payment to the helper if he/she has worked continuously for not less than five years, and:
1)is dismissed or the fixed term contract is not being renewed* by reason of redundancy; and
2)is certified by a registered medical practitioner as permanently unfit for the present job and he/she resigns.
3)is aged 65 or above and he/she resigns; or
4)dies in service
